Welcome to the Derry Township School District’s virtual learning platform: Trojan Academy.

This program is an extension of Hershey High School and Hershey Middle School, offering a flexible online learning experience backed by the excellence and tradition of the award-winning Derry Township School District.

Trojan Academy is dedicated to fostering community, connection, and academic excellence for all learners in Derry Township. Our mission is to provide students with access to the full range of public school course offerings, including AP classes, in a flexible online format, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to graduate with a Hershey High School diploma, an achievement recognized for its rigor, integrity, and long-standing academic distinction.

Students enrolled in Trojan Academy don’t just earn a diploma, they gain access to the full Hershey experience. This includes extracurricular activities, athletics, arts programs, clubs, counseling services, and more. Our virtual learners are welcome and encouraged to participate in school events, performances, field trips, and community activities, creating a well-rounded and enriching experience.

In addition to their online learning experience, students enrolled in Trojan Academy have the opportunity to attend in-person office hours with the Trojan Academy Principal at our District Office. These sessions provide a valuable chance for students to ask questions, receive additional support, collaborate with peers, and engage in social activities that build connection and community. Whether for academic help or simply to interact with fellow students in a relaxed setting, these in-person opportunities enrich the virtual learning experience and help students stay engaged and connected.

Trojan Academy students learn at their own pace, in a setting that meets their individual needs, while still benefiting from the guidance of certified Derry Township educators, the support of school counselors and tech specialists, and the community spirit that makes our district exceptional.
